Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was a disappointing experience overall for a four-star rating. The rooms were mediocre with a view of a concrete car park and buses, paper cups for tea and coffee, and a spa that required forms and booking in advance only to find a small pool. However, my room, although standard, had a super king bed, complimentary bottled water, and even Earl Grey tea, which I appreciated. The cleanliness was a letdown due to overflowing towel containers and a wet floor.
My stay at the hotel was absolutely fabulous! The rooms were excellent, with a fabulous bed and lots of space to relax. The breakfast was top-notch. However, the check-in time being slightly delayed was a minor inconvenience.
I chose this hotel for its luxury amenities at a great price. The room had everything you'd expect in a 5-star hotel but without the high cost. Although I noticed some cobwebs, the stay was quiet, very comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room, though a bit small for two people, was surprisingly spacious and better than expected. The strong smell of cigarette smoke was a downside, especially considering the price paid.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms, although nicely appointed and comfortable, had a bed that listed to one side and was too soft and bouncy, leading to an uncomfortable night's sleep. The location was convenient for accessing the High Street and the motorway, but being near the ramp for wheelchair users was a drawback. The service was a mix, with some staff being great and friendly while others seemed unprepared and impolite. The dining experience was a highlight, with excellent options available, though the environment was not always inviting. Overall, a decent stay with a few areas that could be improved.
The hotel is conveniently located near the town center, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The rooms were a bit disappointing with outdated decor and uncomfortable beds but did offer some extra space. The service was friendly but lacked attention to detail at times. Dining was average, and facilities were adequate.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms, although a bit dated, were clean, which was satisfactory even though I was told I had an upgrade to a platinum suite but didn't see any difference. The service was mostly friendly and efficient, except for a not-so-nice encounter at the entrance. The location, just out of the center but in a lovely area, was convenient for a short walk to the city. The dining options were good, offering a nice variety of dishes. The hotel facilities were decent, though lacking in certain areas.
The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to town and the rail station. The service was friendly and helpful, although there were issues with the air-con in the room initially. The rooms had some lighting and noise problems but overall provided a comfortable stay. The dining experience had some shortcomings, especially with breakfast choices. Location and service stood out positively, making it a decent choice for travelers.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were perfect for sitting and making plans, and the bed was large even for a one-night stay. However, the service felt robotic with false smiles and minimal conversation. The location was good for walking into town but not as close to the Christmas market as expected. The dining experience left something to be desired, especially the quality of the sausages. Despite some shortcomings, the facilities were decent and functional.
